Birthday Parties at The Culinary Playground
are a deliciously unique way to celebrate your child's birthday!
Our 2 hour birthday parties include time to cook and eat! Choose from the menus
below and if you don't see what you are looking for - just ask!
We are happy to help make your child's culinary dream party a reality!
*$275 for 10 or less children (including the birthday child).
$20/each additional child up to 12 children maximum.
*Payment in full ($275) is due at the time of booking.
If you have more than 10 kids attending, additional charges will be paid day of party.
*Once you book your party a custom invitation will be emailed to you to within 24 hours. Make sure to check junk mail!
*Want party favors? We have TCP white cloth aprons and chefs hats available for $8/each.
You will be charged for 1 item at the time of booking, with remainder based on number needed, due on day of party.
Kids will decorate them with fabric markers and take them home after party.
Pizza Parlour
By far our most popular party. What could be more fun than a group of friends with their hands all covered with sticky, gooey pizza dough and their faces sprinkled lightly with flour? A few giggles and a little tomato sauce later and you'll each have your own individual, Homemade Pizza. The possibilities are endless as we set out toppings of your choice and YOU get to be the chef. The fun continues with cupcake decorating! About a 10" pizza and 2 cupcakes/guest, one for dessert and the other to take home as a party favor!
In The Jungle
This adventurous trek through the kitchen is nothing less than edible art. Your little chefs will make beautiful Snakeoli (stromboli) painted with colorful egg glazes to look like friendly snakes! The meat and cheese fillings make them related to a sandwich, but the painting makes them art!. Can be made vegetarian, too! Decorate cupcakes and you'll round out your cooking/ art adventure with full tummies and a few giggles to boot!
Spa-tacular Event
Recipes inspired by spa treatments? Sure! Kids will make Oatmeal Facial Scrub (to take home) and Cinnamon Vanilla Hand Scrub to partner up and pamper their friends with. Choice of Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies OR Salted Soft Pretzels.
Tea Party
Tea parties are the most fun when you invite all of your friends!
Kids will make Strawberry Scones and Tea Sandwiches and Fruity Tea will be served!

Sundae Best
Make brownie sundaes~ from scratch! That's right- this kids cooking party has your birthday king or queen making chocolate brownies, vanilla ice cream and hot fudge sauce with their party guests...all from scratch! We'll serve a portion in our cute sundae cups and send each child home with their batch of brownies.
Mexican Fiesta
If you love tacos, you'll love our from scratch empanadas. Kids will make the dough then choose from a variety of filling such as taco meat, cheese, veggies and beans to customize their dish that will be served with salsa and sour cream. For dessert, they will decorate 2 cupcakes, one for dessert the other to take home as a party favor!
A Little Italy
Like lasagna, but in a much more interesting package! Your kids will love familiar flavors, presented in this fun and interesting way.
3 Cheese Lasagna Roll Ups in Marianara will give you a little taste of Italy. For dessert kids will use buttercream frosting and candies to decorate 2 cupcakes, one to enjoy at the party, the other to take home as a favor.

Lotsa Pasta!
Mac&Cheese from scratch is delicious fun! Kids under 8 will stick with our tried and true basic macaroni and cheese (or TREES aka, Broccoli) and decorate cupcakes for dessert.
Our chefs who are 8 and older will experiment with a variety of cheeses and mix-in as they shred and combine flavors to create their own one-of-a-kind masterpiece of Penne Mornay. While their pasta bakes, kids will decorate 2 cupcakes, one to enjoy at the party for dessert, the other to take home as a party favor!
I LOVE Chocolate
Part cooking, part art. We use a chocolate making party to teach all kinds of things...patience, temperature, mise en place...but let's face it: Chocolate is just pure, decadent, finger-licking, FUN!

Pajama Party
The best pajama parties start with snacks and end with breakfast! In this wacky kids cooking birthday party, we’ll serve up both! Start with soft Amish Pretzels. Finish with sweet Blueberry Muffins. But don’t forget to wear your PJs!
Monkey Business
Seems we're always monkeying around in the kitchen...this kids' cooking party is no different! Whether you decide to wear your sock monkey t-shirts, or tote your favorite sock monkey animals, you're sure to find that familiar red grin when you decorate Sock Monkey Cupcakes and bake Monkey Bread!
